DriveThru Urgent Care launches Game-Changing Approach to Help Patients Get Better Faster

Dr. Ben Lefkove and Ron Sanders were recently interview by Joe Ripley of 11Alive, Atlanta's NBC television affiliate, regarding the opening of DriveThru Urgent Care. The interviewed aired multiple times across 11Alive's news broadcasts, beginning June 14.

Heather Kelly, a mother of two teenagers, was also interviewed and said that DTUC would improve urgent care. "You have roomfuls of sick kids and ambulances coming in and out," Kelly said. "It's stressful because your kid is sick or injured. You don't know how long you're going to be there."

Dr. Lefkove shared the breadth of services available at DTUC. "It could be colds, or back pain, sinusitis. We have the flu, pink eye, ear infections, strep, asthma, medication refills. We have X-ray capability, so if you broke your arm, we can also address all of that."

Sanders added that convenience is key in healthcare. "With this model, we're trying to make it affordable, easily accessible and bring it to the people," he said. "We're trying to meet the patients where they are."

DriveThru Urgent Care opens August 18 at 1605 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30318.
